The 10 best Infinity Pools in Dubai

Deluxe Room with balcony
Marina Junior Suite bedroom
One Bedroom Sea View Apartment

Nothing captures Dubai quite like an infinity pool. Swim to the edge, rest your arms on the glass, and the city lies spread out below you.

Dubai has no shortage of hotel pools, but only a handful are truly unforgettable. A great infinity pool is defined by what lies beyond its edge, and we chose these with that in mind. Float with the Burj Khalifa towering above you, swim above the yachts of Dubai Marina or slip into an adults-only sky pool on the Palm. Some gaze out across the Gulf, others take in the sweep of the Downtown skyline from Dubai Creek Harbour, and one becomes a beach club as the DJs take over at sunset.

No other city offers swims quite like these, and the view from each one stays with you long after you dry off.

The Palm's Boldest Statement

Atlantis The Royal rises from the Palm's crescent beside its famous sister. Its stacked towers and sky bridges form one of Dubai's most striking silhouettes. The resort is designed so you never need to leave, but the city is within reach. Complimentary shuttles link it to Atlantis, The Palm. Taxis reach Dubai Marina in about 20 minutes, and Downtown in around half an hour.

Fire, Water and Endless Energy

This resort never sits still. At its heart, the Skyblaze Fountain sends fire and water 28 metres into the air, while DJs set the mood from the pools to the restaurants. Every stay includes unlimited access to Aquaventure, the world's largest waterpark, and the Lost World Aquarium, plus breakfast at the lavish Gastronomy buffet every morning.

Balconies, Sky Suites and Private Pools

Every room opens onto a balcony, and at 55 square metres there's space to spare, with views across the Palm or the open sea. The suites are exceptional: Sky Terrace Suites with sweeping sea-view terraces, Sky Pool Villas with private pools, the Sunscape Penthouse with an infinity-edge pool overlooking the Palm, and the vast Panoramic Penthouse, complete with a glass-walled pool. Families are well catered for, with family rooms, multi-bedroom suites sleeping up to eight, interconnecting rooms and a complimentary kids' club.

A Line-Up of Global Star Chefs

With eight celebrity chef restaurants, dining here is a world tour. Dinner by Heston Blumenthal holds a Michelin star, Nobu brings its signature style to the beach, and Estiatorio Milos overlooks the Skyblaze Fountain. La Mar, Ariana's Persian Kitchen and Ling Ling, with its sky-high lounge, complete a line-up that flows effortlessly from dinner into late-night drinks.

A Pool for Every Mood

There's a pool for every mood here. The Royal Pool is the resort's sunny centrepiece, Nobu by the Beach adds a grown-up pool by the sand, and high above it all, Cloud 22 is the adults-only rooftop infinity pool. AWAKEN Spa takes wellness to new heights with its Elements Retreat, featuring a halotherapy salt cave, a hydrotherapy pool, a snow fountain, and a charcoal sauna for guests who book a treatment.

Marina Calm, Burj Views

Most Downtown hotels put you in the thick of the crowds. The Lana takes a smarter route. It sits on the quiet marina at Marasi Bay in Business Bay, with the Burj Khalifa rising across the water. Mornings begin with coffee on The Lana Promenade, and evenings end with the skyline lighting up. Yet the big sights are never far away. Dubai Mall is about ten minutes by car, and the airport is about 20 minutes away.

Quiet Luxury, Parisian Style

This is luxury that doesn't need to shout. Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier have blended traditional craft with contemporary flair, letting space and light do the talking, and an art collection runs through the hotel. From the moment you step into the lobby, it feels polished and assured, very much in the Dorchester Collection mould.

Skyline Rooms with Room to Breathe

Rooms here are designed around the view. Every one has a private balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows framing Downtown, the marina, or the desert stretching to the horizon, and the smallest measure is a generous 56 square metres, balcony included. Cool stone parquet and Bang & Olufsen sound set the tone, while the duplex suites, with double-height living rooms and terraces on both levels, feel more like private residences.

A Table with the Stars

The Lana has gathered one of the city's most impressive lineups of chefs. Basque legend Martín Berasategui, holder of 12 Michelin stars, brings his homeland's fire to Jara. Meanwhile, Jean Imbert takes diners on a sun-soaked tour of the French and Italian rivieras at Riviera. Come sunset, head up to High Society, the rooftop bar with 360-degree views, where the Burj Khalifa takes centre stage and cocktails turn into dancing after dark.

Dior Spa and a Pool in the Sky

The only Dior Spa in Dubai, and the first in the Middle East, brings Parisian beauty savoir-faire to the hotel, with treatments built around the Dior Prestige range and the signature Escale ritual, a Japanese-inspired head-to-toe massage. Afterwards, slip into the rooftop infinity pool, where Downtown spreads out below, and the Burj Khalifa fills the horizon.

On the Trunk of the Palm

Staying on the Palm's trunk gives you island life with the city close at hand. Palm Jumeirah Mall is on the doorstep, with The View at The Palm rising above it. Guests can also use the exclusive West Palm Beach, steps from the hotel. The Palm Monorail is a few minutes' walk away. Dubai Marina and Mall of the Emirates are about a 15-minute drive away, and Downtown is about 25 minutes.

Balconies Over the Sea

Many rooms have a private balcony, and the best ones face the water. Choose a Sea View room or a One Bedroom Sea View Suite for views over the Arabian Gulf, where the Palm's crescent and the open sea stretch out below.

From Sports Bar to Rooftop Dining

The all-day restaurant serves international dishes from breakfast to dinner, while a café and a lounge handle coffee and lighter bites. Fans can catch the game at the sports bar, and up on the roof, a restaurant and bar offer far-reaching city views.

Rooftop Infinity Pool and Spa

The rooftop infinity pool overlooks the Dubai skyline, perfect for a lazy afternoon in the sun. The spa and gym, meanwhile, keep you in shape, body and mind.

Downtown's Polished Retreat

Kempinski, Europe's oldest luxury hotel group, brings a polished, contemporary style to Downtown's heart, with views of the city's landmarks at almost every turn. It feels calm and composed, a welcome escape from the buzz of the Boulevard just outside.

Burj Views from Your Room

Deluxe rooms offer a generous 47 square metres, with modern furnishings, luxurious bedding and a private balcony overlooking the city. Book a Grand Premier Burj View room for the full spectacle, with the world's tallest building framed in your window. Connecting rooms are available in some categories.

Modern French and Afternoon Pastries

The hotel's brasserie serves modern French cuisine in a stylish, sophisticated setting. The elegant Lobby Lounge is made for fine teas, freshly brewed coffee and tempting pastries. With Dubai Mall next door, hundreds more restaurants are a few minutes' walk away.

A Rooftop Pool and Luxury Spa

High above the Boulevard, the rooftop infinity pool looks straight at the Burj Khalifa, with loungers set right in the shallows. Palace Life on the West Crescent

Set along the Palm's West Crescent, the resort overlooks the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Marina skyline. A 1km private beach stretches out in front. This is one of the island's quieter corners, ideal for a true beach escape. Yet the city is close by. It takes about 20 minutes by car to reach Dubai Marina or Mall of the Emirates, and around 30 minutes to get to Downtown.

Ottoman Opulence

Inspired by the grandeur of the Ottoman era, the resort celebrates culture and heritage at every turn, from ornate craftsmanship to soft, graceful interiors. Families are well looked after too. The Jumeirah Circle kids' and teens' clubs are complimentary, and there's a private 29-seat cinema showing family-friendly films, plus tennis courts.

Turkish Marble Baths and Royal Villas

Every room opens onto a balcony, and at 46 square metres, there's plenty of space, with ornate craftsmanship, soft tones, and a Turkish-inspired bathroom featuring a large marble bath and a separate rain shower. Suites overlook the Palm or the ocean skyline, while the Royal Villas, set among tropical gardens around a lagoon pool, offer up to five bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, private pools, and direct beach access at the Royal Beach Villas. Family rooms with two queen beds make it easy to travel together.

From Lebanese to Japanese

Ten restaurants, lounges and bars bring together Lebanese, Indian, Japanese and Mediterranean flavours, from relaxed beachside lunches to elegant evenings, so every craving is covered.

Talise Ottoman Spa

Talise Ottoman Spa, one of the largest in the Middle East, blends ancient Ottoman healing traditions with contemporary therapies, from the Royal Ottoman hammam to the signature Sultan's massage. Guests enjoy complimentary access to the snow room, steam room, sauna, and thalassotherapy pool, with the infinity pool and beach steps away.

Connected to Dubai Mall

Take the lift to Level 1, and you're straight into Dubai Mall and its Chinatown, with the Dubai Aquarium, countless shops and a world of restaurants under one roof. Outside, the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain and the waterside cafés of Souk Al Bahar are just steps away. Downtown can't get more convenient, and the airport is only a 15- to 20-minute drive.

Front-Row Seats to the Fountain

The hotel began life as Address Fountain Views, and the name still sums it up: the Dubai Fountain dances below while the Burj Khalifa soars above. Inside, the style is calm and contemporary, with soft greys, creams, and modern artwork, a polished retreat from Downtown's energy after a busy day at the mall.

Burj Khalifa and Fountain Views

Rooms are spacious from the outset, with 50 square metres in the city-view rooms, all on high floors with floor-to-ceiling windows and a seating area. For the best seat in the house, book a Burj Khalifa and Fountain View room with a balcony facing both icons, or step up to the Executive and Ambassador Suites, with separate living rooms and balconies or terraces overlooking the fountain. Interconnecting rooms make it easy to book together.

From Japanese-Peruvian to Indian Vegetarian

Dining is wonderfully varied, with Japanese-Peruvian dishes at NAZCAA, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavours at Solara, and an all-vegetarian Indian menu at The Vegetarian Room. The Tea Lounge serves international favourites, and the patisserie and café tempt with pastries and cakes.

Rooftop Infinity Pool and Hammam

Two rooftop infinity pools, including one for adults only, face the Burj Khalifa, with private cabanas, a large sun deck, and a pool lounge for drinks and bites. The spa adds a traditional hammam, a vitality pool, and a steam room, and the fitness centre includes a yoga studio and its own Burj Khalifa views.

At 53 square metres, the Superior Studio is the smallest room here, with sea views, a kitchenette, and a standalone bathtub. From there, it gets indulgent. The Luxe Spa Loft has its own hot tub, spa bath and sauna. Many suites and residences, up to four bedrooms, come with a private pool, and some add a fully equipped kitchen and a sea-view terrace.

Beach Club Beats and a Rooftop Cocktail Bar

Playa Pacha serves Mediterranean dishes with views of Ain Dubai, before the beats take over by the pool and beach. Up on the rooftop, Paradiso pours creative cocktails.
