Page8 enjoys a superb position on St Martin’s Place, between Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden. The National Gallery and National Portrait Gallery are on the doorstep, with Leicester Square, Soho, Chinatown and the West End theatres all within a short walk. Charing Cross station is just a couple of minutes’ walk, although you may barely need the Tube from here.
Cool, Calm & Contemporary
Page8 has a clean, urban feel, with dark tones, bronze detailing, and marble that adds polish without feeling fussy. It’s refreshingly relaxed for such a prime address. The lively streets outside also stay where they belong, thanks to excellent soundproofing.
Simple, Stylish Rooms
Rooms are contemporary and thoughtfully designed, with comfortable beds, marble bathrooms, and practical touches such as Marshall speakers and air purifiers. Some overlook the surrounding streets and landmarks, while others face the quieter inner courtyard. Deluxe rooms are worth considering if you want a little more space.
Coffee Downstairs, Cocktails Upstairs
The lobby flows into Page Common, a proper coffee house serving speciality coffee, pastries and light dishes. On the roof, Kitty Hawk offers cocktails, pre-theatre dining and views across Trafalgar Square. It’s a nice contrast: coffee and people-watching downstairs, dinner and drinks above the rooftops.
